JEPI dividend calculator
Enter JEPI's current share price and its annual dividend per share (the total paid over the last 12 months), and this calculator projects your dividend income and how your holding grows with dividends reinvested (DRIP). Dividend amounts change, so the inputs start blank rather than showing out-of-date numbers.
JEPI dividend calculator (DRIP)
JEPI pays monthly, and the amount changes each month because much of it comes from option premiums.
How the JEPI DRIP calculation works
Each payout, the calculator multiplies your shares by the dividend per payment (annual dividend ÷ payouts per year). With DRIP on, that cash buys more shares at the share price at that time, so the next payout is larger. Monthly additions buy shares at the same price. Dividend growth and price growth are applied smoothly each year. Results are before taxes and ignore fees and trading costs.
JEPI dividend yield and income
Dividend yield = annual dividend per share ÷ share price. Yearly income = shares × annual dividend per share; monthly income is that figure ÷ 12, even when the fund pays quarterly or weekly.
Common questions
How much does $10,000 in JEPI pay per month?
Monthly income = $10,000 × yield ÷ 12. For example, at a 4% yield that is about $33 a month, and at 10% about $83. Enter JEPI's current price and dividend above to see the exact figure for today.
How often does JEPI pay dividends?
JEPI currently pays monthly. Payout dates and amounts are set by the fund and can change; check the fund's official page.
How many shares of JEPI do I need to make $1,000 a month?
Shares needed = $12,000 ÷ annual dividend per share. The calculator's income figures show how close a given investment gets you.
Are JEPI dividends guaranteed?
No. Distributions can rise, fall or stop, and the share price can fall. Past payouts do not guarantee future income.
